'Steven Universe' Bumped On Another Hiatus, Show Rumored To Stop After 'Tiger Philanthropist'

Hiatuses are like occasional thunderstorm in the middle of summer, they happen when everything is just so fine. And with "Steven Universe", it seems like there would be another thunderstorm approaching. Fans might soon ride the Hiatus Train again.

The show is rumoured to stop airing episodes and will go on hiatus after the episode "Tiger Philanthropist". In this episode, it is said that Steven's alter ego, Tiger Millionaire, will be back and will try Pro Wrestling. User 501stRookie from Reddit  speculated that in this episode Amethyst's love on wrestling would be back. Amethyst does wrestling before to let off steam from pressure from Pearl and Garnet. But since the relationship of these three characters has been better, Amethyst does not have a reason to wrestle anymore.

But after this episode, IMDB's page does not have any detail for the next episode. The only thing that is there is the episode date in which it is stated that the episode is supposed to come on March 11. Does it mean that the episode, titled "Room for Ruby", will not be aired on its airing date?

"Steven Universe" hiatuses are not really that rare. The show is known to take long hiatuses time after time. Fans even dubbed these hiatuses as "Hiatus Universe". And with these hiatuses, the next episodes are always big hits. This is also a good tactic on the show's side. It makes the works better because of longer time of production, as well as it makes fans more excited for the next episode.

In fact, some theories have surfaced, and the Hiatus train isn't running yet. Den of Geek  has a theory that maybe Ronaldo is doing a prophet thing again, predicting the next events of "Steven Universe" plot. With Ronaldo's warning about Rock People cooking a new breed of Gem Monsters, it is said that Yellow Diamond is likely to attack Earth soon.
