The fate of "The Big Bang Theory" getting a renewal or a cancellation after Season 10, now depends on actors Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. Recent reports reveal the two actresses have requested for a pay raise ahead of the renewal.

According to Variety, Bialik and Rauch are holding up the deal for the renewal of "The Big Bang Theory." The show is nearing its two-season renewal deal with CBS and until their pay dispute is resolved, then the show may be facing its cancellation.

The publication claimed Bialik and Rauch want to earn as much as their "The Big Bang Theory" co-stars are earning. Jim Parson (Sheldon), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Simon Helberg (Howard), Kunal Nayyar (Raj) and Johnny Galecki (Leonard) earn $1 million per episode.

Meanwhile, Bialik and Rauch reportedly only earn $450,000 each per episode. Their initial pay was at $200,000 until the original casts decided to split their earnings by $100,000 to give their co-stars a raise.

There has been no word yet from both sides--from the network or from the actors' representatives-- if the pay dispute has been resolved. As it stands, the fate of "The Big Bang Theory" getting a renewal or a cancellation depends on the agreement between both parties.

According to TV Line, it is hard to imagine "The Big Bang Theory" without Bialik's Amy Farrah Fowler and Rauch's Bernadette. They have been mainstays in the series since they joined Season 3. Bialik plays Sheldon's awkward girlfriend. Likewise, Rauch's Bernadette just gave birth to her first child with Howard. The storyline in the show might drastically change if these actors do not return for the two-season renewal.

Regardless, CBS and Warner Bros. TV are reportedly optimistic that "The Big Bang Theory" will not face cancellation. They believe that the network will eventually come to a pay agreement with Bialik and Rauch to convince them to return for Season 11 and 12.
