"The Blacklist" Season 4 is currently on hiatus but fans are still not over with the huge surprise in its final episode, "The Apothecary." Red (James Spader) was betrayed and the culprit was revealed. However, viewers should be prepared because there are more twists when the series returns.

The last episode of "The Blacklist" Season 4 revealed that Dembe is the traitor. This is a huge slap on Red's face as he is his right-hand man. Mr. Kaplan had also betrayed Red when she supported Liz's (Megan Boone) faked death.

There is a growing rift between Red and Mr. Kaplan in "The Blacklist" Season 4. In fact, viewers thought that the latter was the traitor. Thus, it was shocking that it was Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq), after all.

Tawfiq shared a short clip that triggers new theories about Dembe's betrayal against Red. Per Cartermatt, the actor is warning the "The Blacklist" fans about the drama that is bound to happen in "The Blacklist" Season 4, following the deception that the viewers witnessed in the last episode.

There are rumors that Dembe was just set up in "The Blacklist" Season 4. He was captured and framed. Many believe that someone is behind Dembe's betrayal and that this person is controlling him to deceive Red. This person could be Mr. Kaplan. Of course, Red nearly kill her and she has the motive to take revenge.

Meanwhile, the fate of "The Blacklist" Season 5 is still unconfirmed. There are suggestions that the production should change its plot and kill one of its main characters to give the series a fresh start. Pop Matters suggested that the traitor should be someone with noble character, a true baddie or a popular character befriending Red only to betray him.

"The Blacklist" excels in giving the series a great twist. For instance, many were shocked when it turned out that Ryan Eggold's Tom Keen was a spy hired to seduce Liz. Viewers were also surprised of Liz's untimely death but were relieved when she returned alive and kicking.

Do you agree that the production should kill one main character to give the series a huge twist and convince the network to renew "The Blacklist" season 5? Is Dembe really the traitor? What do you think? Drop a comment below.
