The iconic "Injustice 2" game is only months away from being launched for consoles. However, it looks like mobile gamers will also be getting their hands on the fighting game.

The official "Injustice 2" Twitter account broke the news on the micro-blogging platform on March 1. They did not offer further details, but they did include a slew of images teasing some playable D.C. characters. In one image, Batman and Superman are in the middle of a fight. Next is Wonder Woman followed by Harley Quinn.

Eagle-eyed sleuths at WWG also noted the background of Harley Quinn has an Easter egg. Different versions of Batman are present, as well as Harley Quinn herself, Cyborg, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Arrow. But as the gaming site pointed out, there is a card with an almost obscured name. However, the word "Cold' is pretty visible. And that leads to the speculation that Captain Cold will be appearing in "Injustice 2", for both mobile and console.

Going back to the tweet, the last image is one that is inviting players to go deep into DC Universe through the game. It and the other images as a whole gave future "Injustice 2" mobile players a glance into the game. As Mic wrote, it will most likely have a few differences from its console counterpart. One of the things that will or have likely changed is the fighting system. NetherRealm would have designed it to be well-suited for touch screen mobile devices.

Since "Injustice 2" has already pre-launched in the Philippines, future mobile players from other countries can take note. Tapping the screen will allow for basic combos while swiping in designated directions trigger particular attacks. Thanks to Philippine players, those from other parts of the world already know at least a few mechanics. However, they have still a while to wait to play the game in their respective countries.
