Hello Games, creator of the open-ended exploration game "No Man's Sky", is gearing up for an update. More information regarding the content is being anticipated by fans this week. But what is known so far is that the update should help further the gameplay and to enhance exploration tools. Additionally, ATVs are supposed to come to the game

Although nothing official has been released regarding the much-awaited update, Express reported that a player found evidence of a customizable ground vehicle. A Reddit user found allusions to a buggy amongst "No Man's Sky" game files. No actual ATV was found but the player then found mentions of tire textures. This user was not alone, as other data miners also discovered data files pertaining to land vehicles.

The discovery was thanks to the Foundation Update, released four months after "No Man's Sky" launch, Daily Star noted. The update was meant to put things in place for future changes and additions. But it already contained references to future changes and that includes ATVs.

The land vehicles that are coming to "No Man's Sky" in an update are expecteed to feature vertical boosters. They are also believed to sport a jet engine plus mounted guns. However, players will have to work hard to acquire these ATVs as they would need a special terminal and a mechanic. On top of that, they would need to go on missions to obtain the parts needed for the construction of an ATV. But fans would be glad to know that they could upgrade the land vehicle's accessories using technologies available in the game.

Meanwhile, Sean Murray, co-founder of Hello Games and co-developer of No Man's Sky will appear at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. Murray is anticipated to reveal something about the "No Man's Sky" update and the ATVs. But even if he does not, players are already aware of what is coming, thanks to data miners.
