Fans and followers of Emma Watson still identify her as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films. As she now takes Belle to the big screen in "Beauty and the Beast", it would still be nice to give a nod to the character that made her a celebrity.

And that exactly happened in "Beauty and the Beast", as a short yet funny dialogue was inserted into the film. Cosmopolitan reported that while performing the song "Bonjour", Belle stops to chat with someone named Monsieur Jean.  After asking if he lost something again, he answers that he believes he his, problem is he can't remember what.

If the exchange seems somewhat familiar, it is because Watson had the same conversation with another forgetful person, only it was in the Wizarding World. Back in the first "Harry Potter" movie, "The Philosopher's Stone", Neville Longbottom received a 'remembrall' from the owl mail. When Hermione asked the same question, Neville replied almost exactly the same.

Fans of the "Harry Potter" franchise are certainly amused with the quirky reference used in "Beauty and the Beast." This holds more ground because the exchange was not part of the original 1991 animated film it was based on, making it look as if the staff deliberately added the reference into "Beauty and the Beast."

Meanwhile, Bill Condon, leading the project as director, has stated that "Beauty and the Beast" will take influence on several American movie musicals. According to Telegraph, these musical movies include "Les Miseralbes", "Chicago", "Cabaret" and "Singin' in the Rain", among others.

"Beauty and the Beast" also stars Dan Steven as the titular Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as Gaston's sidekick Le Fou. Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson and Ian McKellen lend their voices as the antiques found inside Beast's castle

"Beauty and the Beast" brings the tale as old as time on March 17, 2017.
