Ed Sheeran is fast becoming the go-to guy for getting spoilers on when popular singers are going to release their next album. Days after dropping major hints on Harry Styles' first solo album, Ed Sheeran has now "accidentally" revealed the estimated release date of Taylor Swift's new album!

Taylor Swift has been enjoying some time off, ever since the highly publicized breakup with Tom Hiddleston. Since she has been maintaining a low profile, refusing to give anything away to the prying media, her fans have been searching any hint or sign that would give them a clue about when their favorite singer would release her next album.

Lucky for them, Ed Sheeran is building up quite a reputation as a blabber mouth lately, and one of the things he loves to dish out is spoilers about his colleagues' new albums. During an interview with BBC, where he was supposed to explain the reason he has decided to release his new album, "Divide", this year, he also unintentionally let it spill that Swift was expected to release her album in 2017 too!

"Taylor isn't going to be releasing until probably the end of this year - Christmas is the smartest time to release because that's when everyone buys records," the "Shape Of You" singer said. "So I've got a full year of just all Ed, all the time."

Even though the "Bad Blood" singer has not confirmed Sheeran's statement yet, all signs point to her releasing her album around Christmas 2017. She had declared earlier this year that the pre-Super Bowl concert was the only one she will be performing this year, which gave off the impression that she will be unavailable for most of the year, reports US Weekly.

Does this mean that Taylor Swift will make a comeback at the end of 2017 with a bang? Ed Sheeran also said during an Instagram Live chat with his fans that he knew when One Direction's Harry Styles might drop his first solo album!
