Musician Justin Timberlake walked away with the 'Song of the Year' award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday. He was honored for his song "Can't Stop the Feeling!" from Dream Works animated movie "Trolls."

What stood out more than the award was his heartfelt acceptance speech on embracing togetherness. Justin Timberlake also dedicated his win to children who feel "different." "if you are black or you are brown or you are gay or you're a lesbian or you are trans, or maybe you're just a sissy singing boy from Tennessee, anyone that is treating you unkindly, it's only because they are afraid or have been taught to be afraid of how important you are," he said in his acceptance speech. The singer-writer also highlight that people who are different can always make the difference and anyone who is treating them badly are afraid of their strength. He also asked the prejudice to "fuck 'em."

Washington Post recalled how Justin Timberlake has also used the last year's award platform to send a strong message on embracing togetherness. Last year, Timberlake took a dig at the then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's statement to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. His speech a huge round of applause. The same report added that Timberlake was initially apprehensive to write lyrics for a film song as he has never worked on that pretense.

TIME stated that Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop This Feeling" topped many charts last year and was also nominated for best original song at last month's Academy Awards. The disco-inspired song also entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1.

At this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards, Drake was the real winner with 12 nominations and 7 wins including Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. The Chainsmokers won five awards while Adele, Rihanna, and Metallica walked away with one each.
