"Limitless" Season 2 remains to be one of the anticipated series in the small screens. CBS already announced that they are done with it despite the viewers' petition for more seasons. Here's the latest scoop we have.

"Limitless" fans continue to pour their support for season 2. In fact, it has been months since an online petition for "Limitless" Season 2 was posted on the petition site. At the time, it has already gained 53, 913 supporters and counting.

"Limitless" viewers are still active in sharing their thoughts in the comment section. "This show is Epic!!! It has everything from romance suspense excitement!!!" one supporter commented.

Bradley Cooper is not giving up on "Limitless" Season 2. In fact, there were rumors that Cooper along with the other producers was in talks with other networks to save the series. Unfortunately, Amazon reportedly declined due to its controversial plot involving the NZT drug.

However, if the matter depends on EP Craig Sweeny "Limitless" Season 2 will be pushed. He already has huge plans for its next run.

"So, we're going to make some changes to the show, but it will remain essentially -- we do find a way for it to be Brian taking NZT working with Rebecca and Boyle and a couple new members on the team, solving crimes and having fun a week-to-week basis," Sweeny told IGN about his plans for "Limitless" Season 2.

At the time, there is still no confirmation if "Limitless" has received a green light already or if the producers are still marketing the series to other networks. Few things are certain, though, fans are yearning for season 2 and CBS are done with the TV series.

"Limitless" Season 2 may or may not happen. However, if one network will give the series a chance, its future is bright as Sweeny has still a lot of stories to tell.
