Disney and Lucasfilm released a teaser for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" that revealed Luke Skywalker's first words. The short clip takes off after the cliffhanger in "The Force Awakens," when Luke first meets Rey.

A few fortunate reporters and Disney shareholders saw the teaser for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" ahead of the Star Wars Celebration in April. Daniel Miller from the LA Times revealed some details about the preview on his Twitter. He confirmed that the teaser opens with Rey (Daisy Ridley) handing Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) his lightsaber, similar to what viewers saw in "The Force Awakens."

However, the difference is this time Luke uttered a few words. Prior to Rey handing Luke his lightsaber, the Jedi Master asked her, "Who are you?" According to Screenrant, this question proves that the Jedi Master does not know Rey.

Luke's first words in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" contradict reports that claim Luke already knows Rey. There have been speculations that Luke and Rey are related or that he could be her father. Others claim that Luke used to train Rey in the ways of The Force.

Meanwhile, other details in the teaser for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" include the appearance of Finn, General Leia Organa and Chewbacca. The preview also promises an epic and exotic film that captures the natural setting of the mountains, oceans, forests, oceans and deserts. The last thing that appeared on the teaser is an X-Wing that is under attack.

The full trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will reportedly air during the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando. According to The Express, there are three Luke Skywalker scenes in the preview. One shows him and Rey walk down the stone steps towards a tree. The other is a close-up look at Luke's face and the last shows the Jedi Master meditating on a rock.

Regardless, fans will know the full details of the teaser when it airs online. Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to announce when the full trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" comes out.
