Google has again surprised its fans on its latest news, releasing the highly-awaited new flagship tablet, the 2017 Google Nexus 7. The Google Nexus 7 tablet is dubbed as the Ipad Pro 2 main competitor.

All eyes are now on the Google Nexus 7 after Google has launched its Pixel smartphones. As Google is also currently promoting its Pixel brand, according to Gig Jets, Google Nexus 7 will be launched as Pixel 7. The company, meanwhile, expects that the tablet will help the Pixel line gain more popularity.

On the other hand, new reports claimed that Nexus 7 tablet will be operating from Google's new operating system called Google Andromeda OS. This is the result of combining Android OS with Chrome book OS. Now, according to tech experts, Andromeda OS functions the same as the execution abilities of a PC. However, speculations also claimed that this might mislead consumers and developers to having more than one operating system.

On a brighter side, the latest version of Android may, however, a lot better since this is far more than familiar and known to consumers and developers. Meanwhile, the Google Nexus 7 is said to be running Android 7.1 Nougat if Andromeda OS will not be considered.

In addition, the upcoming tablet from Google features a 7-inch AMOLED display with an 820 Snapdragon processor. A 4GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB, completes the package of Google Nexus 7 or Pixel 7. The Google Nexus 7 or Pixel 7 will also be sporting a 13 Megapixel primary camera with an 8 Megapixel secondary camera, including a display resolution of 2560 x 1240 pixels. And also, the flagship tablet is said to be featuring a USB Type C described by Auto World News.

As for the release date of the upcoming flagship tablet, Google has not yet announced any specific date. Rumors, however, claimed that Google Nexus 7 will be out by the third quarter of 2017.
