Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom Launching In US Delayed - Here's Why

Another smartphone, dubbed as Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, is supposed to hit the shelves in the United States during the first quarter of the year. However, Asus confirmed that the launching of the handset will be delayed.

Asus made a public post in a form of a reply to a query on Facebook, wherein the company said that the device will be delayed until Q2. The company wanted a better spec so users can have a better smartphone to use.

As for the changes of the device, Asus has not yet confirmed any information and how it will affect Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom's pricing. However, Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is already available for purchase in Taiwan, according to Gsm Arena.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom was first released in Taiwan last Feb.15. The handset is now expected to be released sometime in April or June. Asus says it has a good reason for this delay.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is sporting a 5.5-inch Full AMOLED HD display with 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU and Adreno 506 GPU and operates with Android Marshmallow. It is available in 3 different storage memory where users can choose from, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB including a 4 GB RAM.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is also sporting a massive battery capacity and said to be the unique feature of this device. It has 5,000mAh battery capacity, which allows users 42 days standby time. Another unique feature is the camera. The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom has a dual rear camera with 12 MP and front camera of 13MP, Tech Times reported.

There are rumors that the Asus company will not make any changes to the device when it will be released in the US market. However, the Taiwanese company has not made any official confirmation as of yet. It seems fans and future consumers of this device have to wait a little longer until Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is launched then.
