"Overlord" Season 2 is already written in the stars. During the weekend, it was revealed that the anime series based on Kagune Maruyama's light novels will get another television run.

Comic Book reported that before "Overlord: The Dark Warrior" rolled, moviegoers were treated to a video announcement of "Overlord" Season 2. However, that was not the only good news for fans of the Kagune Maruyama adaptation. After the second compilation film's release, Yen Press also announced their partnership with Machi Asobi Café. The two companies will be working together to create a café based on the anime series.

So while waiting for "Overlord" Season 2, fans of the Kagune Maruyama light novel adaptation can enjoy the series through the café. Additionally, the dishes served are all based on the anime series! The Yen Press and Machi Asobi Café project launched on Mar. 11 and will end on Mar. 20. Fans who want to experience an "Overlord" themed café can visit it at the Overlord Compilation Film Celebratory Collab Café in the Machi Asobi Café branch in Tokyo.

The adaptation of Kagune Murayama and so-bin's collaborative work started airing in Japan in July 2015. The first season showed how the protagonist, Momonga, got transported into the world of the game Yggdrasil, Anime News Network shared. It is based on the first and second volumes of the light novel. Meanwhile, there is no news as to which volumes "Overlord" Season 2 will be based on.

However, fans have been recently treated to some art given away at the screening of the anime's second film compilation. Viewers who went to screenings received replicas of illustrator so-bin's character art. The film-viewing present featured Shalltear Bloodfallen. The character illustration given away in the first compilation film screening was that of Albedo. These are characters that fans are likely to see more of in "Overlord" Season 2. Author Kagune Maruyama did not participate in the present-giving.
