Everyone's interest was quite piqued when Blizzard announced the "Diablo 3" Necromancer DLC that will introduce the character last seen in the second installment of the franchise. But now that more details about the upcoming class have been revealed, it seems that the reintroduced character is a new must-have, at least for parties.

Fans have been taking a closer look at the unique abilities and skill of the upcoming "Diablo 3" Necromancer character. Of special interest to all is its skill called Leech which, according to the description, curses enemies so that attacking them transfers their life energy to the attacker.

But now, fans are beginning to realize what a handy skill Leech could be in online party gameplay. With the "Diablo 3" Necromancer in one's party, not only will Leech benefit the player but allies could get an HP boost as well, according to Express.

Matthew Berger, "Diablo 3" lead game producer, explained that they wanted those who have played the character in "Diablo 2" to experience a degree of familiarity when it will be reintroduced with the upcoming Rise of the Necromancer DLC. However, the team also wanted to surprise old-timers with something new.

The other skills the new "Diablo 3" Necromancer will be able to use is the Grim Scythe, which swings the blade over a large area dealing damage but simultaneously restoring Essence, Blood Nova, a move that deals damage to nearby enemies and Devour, where the character may restore Essence instantly by eating corpses. The Necromancer class may also summon the Blood Golem, which simultaneously drains enemies of their blood while restoring health to the character. Blood Rush may be opted for a speedy passage by discarding one's physical body to be able to pass through objects.

Meanwhile, "Diablo 3" Season 9 ends March 17, 2017, at 8 PM EST, Mic reported. Not to worry though as Blizzard already announced the upcoming season.

"Diablo 3" Season 10 will start on March 31, 2017, at 8 PM EST, or two weeks after Season 9 ends. As usual, the leaderboard will be wiped clean and previous season's rewards will be given prior to the start of the coming one.

For the "Diablo 3" Rise of the Necromancer DLC, Blizzard is yet to announce an official release date but it is expected to drop by second half of this year. Stay tuned to MStarsNews for the latest updates.
