The newly released promo of “Better Call Saul” Season 3 will surely give fans the old
“Breaking Bad” vibe because of the return of Gus Fring. He was an antagonist, known as the Lord of meth and fried chicken in the defunct series. Although his appearance lasted for only a second in the teaser, it was enough to excite the fans of the Bryan Cranston series everywhere.

Giancarlo Esposito revealed that “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan had to convince him to accept the offer to appear in the show reported Entertainment Weekly. The two of them agreed that Fring’s mysterious and unpredictable identity will be kept in “Better Call Saul” Season 3. Esposito said that this is to make his character dangerous and yet affable and compassionate with his workers.

Meanwhile, Bob Odenkirk revealed that there are more characters from the mother series, Breaking Bad, that will be coming to “Better Call Saul” Season 3 According to the show’s star, the fans are in for a big surprise. As the spin-off comes closer to the “Breaking Bad” period, the appearances of the characters will become more and more.

Is there hope for a Walter White (Bryan Cranston) cameo in “Better Call Saul?” Bob Odenkirk has previously said that fans should stop hoping for it last season. He said that people should stop referencing “Breaking Bad” since his show is full and complex where the stakes are different. He further said to Huffington Post, “Now things are breaking differently.”

Today, going into “Better Call Saul” Season 3, Bob Odenkirk is embracing the idea of the two shows blending together. He said that although the series will stay in the unique tone and area that was set in the two precious seasons, it will have the same balance that “Breaking Bad” had. It will have the balance of violence and higher stakes.

As for Jimmy McGill finally becoming Saul Goodman in “Better Call Saul” Season 3, Bob Odenkirk said it’s gonna happen but not in the way fans would expect it. While Saul is emotionally callous, Jimmy still has soft spots and has a lot of hope. Odenkirk teased, however, that the story will remove all that hope from him.
