"Vikings" Season 5 will be featuring a "fiery" reunion of Rollo and Bjorn as Clive Standen confirmed that he will return for the new season. Viewers will be seeing a reinvented Rollo. Read more to learn the details.

Clive Standen confirmed that his character, Rollo will return in "Vikings" Season 5. "Dead or alive, you will see me in season five," Standen told ET.

However, that's not all because, in a separate interview with TV Guide, the actor also revealed that viewers will see a different Rollo in "Vikings" Season 5. "Nearly every season, [creator] Michael Hirst has allowed me to reinvent this man, and Season 5 is no different," said Clive Standen. "I think when he comes back, all bets are off ... You'll see a very different Rollo."

Per the report, if there is something that remains with the old Rollo, it would be his relationship with the Vikings. However, his reunion with his friends and family will be explosive in a different way.

Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis) Fimmel was killed in "Vikings" Season 4. Clive Standen's character, Rollo was the main catalyst in the former's downfall. His return may not be very welcome for the Vikings, so he would l be showing them that his time away from the tribe had helped him grow and change for the better.

Many were initially hesitant if Clive Standen will return in "Vikings" Season 5 after missing the last two episodes in the last season. Aside from this, the actor landed his own NBC show, "Taken" inspired from Liam Neeson's popular movie of the same title. Standen was set to play the lead role, Bryan Mills in the series. Good thing that Standen is back because Rollo is one of the most interesting characters in the show.

In a separate news, former WWE superstar Adam "Edge" Copeland will be joining the cast of "Vikings" Season 5. He will be playing the role of Ketill Flatnose, a fierce and brave warrior. Floki will choose him as one of the leaders of the Viking party who will travel to Iceland to set up a community there, Den of Geek reported.
