Following the Paterson shootout that garnered three people injured, the police have arrested a suspect. It has been reported that a person dubbed as a "rival" of Fetty Wap has been arrested in connection with the Sunday morning robbery and shooting.

According to TMZ, the authorities have taken Raheem Thomas under their custody for the robbery and shootout. It was reported earlier that the "1738" chain of Fetty Wap has been stolen. Thomas later posted a photo of him on Instagram wherein he is seen wearing the stolen bling.

The outlet reports that Raheem Thomas claimed he was not the one who stole the chain. However, he reportedly "bragged" about taking a photo with the stolen item. The music personality has been booked on gun charges. Sources have revealed that Fetty Wap and Thomas have had issues for years due to music-related causes.

As fans know, Thomas, also known as Fuzz, is the owner of Muscle Team Entertainment. Just this year, the company unleashed "Got Em Remix." The song is a diss track against Fetty Wap. The "Westside" rapper has not yet released a statement regarding the robbery-shooting.

Earlier this week, the North Jersey Record reported that Fetty Wap has been involved in a robbery that resulted in a shootout. Three people have been wounded but law enforcement forces confirmed that the rapper was not shot, nor injured. The exchange of gunfire took place at a Montclair Avenue deli.

Fetty Wap's involvement in the shootout was confirmed by Paterson Deputy Police Chief Troy Oswald. It was also confirmed that some of the rapper's friends were involved. While Fetty Wap and his friends were part of the shootout, they were not suspects.

Fetty Wap has yet to release his official statement on the incident. There are not too many details revealed about the case yes. However, the rapper took to Twitter hours after the incident. It remains to be seen if Raheem Thomas will be officially charged in connection with the shooting.
