Emmy Rossum became the latest victim of a series of robberies after it was reported that someone has burglarized Kendall Jenner's home. Jewelry worth $150,000 was stolen from the two safes in her LA house between last Wednesday and Friday.

The housekeeper at Emmy Rossum's house in Los Angeles called the police after she discovered the power lines being cut and the front door smashed in. The police arrived on the crime scene and after sweeping the place, found that antique jewelry worth $150K was stolen from two safes in her house, TMZ reports. They also believe that the power lines were severed to prevent the house alarm from going off.

The burglars did not have to break the safes since Emmy Rossum had left the combinations to both of them written beside the safes themselves. She also made it easier for them to figure out that she was out of town by posting several pictures of herself in Canada on her Instagram last Wednesday, Mail Online reports. She is believed to be in New York City when her housekeeper discovered that her house had been broken into.

Emmy Rossum is also among the celebrities who love posting pictures of their assets and belongings on social media. She posted a picture of her impressive closet on Instagram on February 2017, which could have attracted the robbers to target her house.

Robberies, similar to Emmy Rossum, have plagued celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Derek Fisher, Alanis Morissette, Yasiel Puig, Cesar Millan, Nick Young and Jaime Pressly in the past. Kendall Jenner was robbed of $200K Jewelry from her Hollywood Hills home. Her sister, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint and robbed of expensive jewelry at a Paris hotel by masked men shortly before.

The sisters had to seek therapy for their traumatizing experiences recently. It has not been determined if Emmy Rossum's robbery is related to Kendall Jenner's burglary or any of the earlier celebrity robberies at this time.
