"Destiny 2" is a game whose predecessor is well-known for its dark content. However, it looks like the upcoming sequel will include some humorous scenes with Cayde-6, if the game's new trailer is to be believed.

Humor is definitely something new to the gloomy franchise, The Verge noted. In fact, the first instalment received some flak over its dark mood and serious tone. Aside from that, the plot was confusing, if there was any at a certain point. But it looks like Bungie has learned their lesson. The Bellevue, Washington-headquartered video game company attempts to lighten the mood in the battlefield in the upcoming "Destiny 2" as the trailer shows.

A day after their official announcement, Bungie released a cinematic trailer for "Destiny 2." It showed Cayde-6, voiced by Nathan Fillion, telling stories from the battlefield while sitting at a bar. But his tone was not somber. Instead, he regaled his audience with gesticulations and sound effects while taking sips from his green-colored drink.

At the end of his tale, the "Destiny 2" trailer reveals that Cayde-6's only listener is a cleaning robot. And all of a sudden, a shot from nowhere hits it in the head and the funny mecha gets up from his tool. When the camera pans to the scene behind him, Forbes pointed out that it looks like The Last City is under siege by the Cabal. After taking stock of the scene around him, the wacky automaton heads on back to the battlefield.

Although the wackiness in the "Destiny 2" trailer is a great news, there was not a lot of information regarding the gameplay. But it did promise that gamers are getting more of Cayde-6 and his potential storytelling antics. And if the game delivers on that possibility, then players will not have always wear a frown while playing.
