Microsoft has been lagging with gaming consoles in the past few years. But the company's life saver is expected to be unveiled tomorrow. Project Scorpio specs and everything that is needed to know will be revealed on April 6, at 6 AM on Digital Foundry.

Now, this is something interesting, as Digital Foundry is a Eurogamer's affiliate site and is known to be fond of the PlayStation 4. According to GameSpot, Digital Foundry is a site that specializes hardware and performance breakdown. Therefore, it is expected that Xbox Scorpio's specs and power are likely to be revealed.

Project Scorpio is an ambitious project, being dubbed as the most powerful console made by Microsoft. Not only because it will house 6 teraflops and eight core CPU, but it is also expected to play games with better performance than any consoles existing in the market today. Compared to Sony PlayStation 4 Pro, with only 4.2 teraflops, the Project Scorpion is expected to be a heavier beast in console gaming.

But even if the basic info about Project Scorpio will be revealed, it is suggested that Microsoft will not give the whole story. Information such as price, release date, and other important details are said to be revealed for Microsoft's E3 2017 in June. The reveal tomorrow will just be the icing on the cake.

As per CNET, it is not clear why Microsoft will let a third party site for its exclusive reveal of Project Scorpio. But if this is to show the strength of Project Scorpio, it is a very risky and bold move for Microsoft. Project Scorpio will support the 4K resolution in 60 fps and will have support for VR games like "Fallout 4". Albeit no exclusive games will be offered, all the games from Xbox One can be played with this console in a higher graphics performance.
