Xbox Scorpio is like the Ryzen of gaming consoles these past few days. After the specs announcement, it is a treat for Xbox loyalists as their favorite gaming box is revamped. With Xbox Scorpio housing beasty specs, it will be worth the wait as it is the most powerful gaming console right now. But it is also possible to build a PC Clone that can be better than Scorpio if there's a money to spare. This project is perfect for those who doesn't want to wait to have Scorpio-like experience.

The specs revelation happened on Eurogamer's Digital Foundry. Xbox Scorpio's clock speed is a step ahead with 2.3Ghz versus PS4 Pro's 2.1Ghz. GPU also got the upper hand with 40 customized compute units at 1172MHz compared to that 36 GCN compute units at 911MHz of PS4 Pro. Scorpio's Memory and Memory bandwidth is 12GB GDDR5 and 326GB/s respectively while PS4 Pro houses 8GB GDDR5 and 218GB/s. Scorpio opens up support for 4K UHD and Blu-ray while PS4 got Blu-Ray only.

Building a PC with the same power as the Xbox Scorpio is possible, Gadgets360 has learned. This is a good project for those who has spare time and spare money or spare computer parts. One of the parts that are recommended is Intel i7 - 7700K 'Kaby Lake' with 4.2Ghz with a maximum boost of 4.5Ghz. AMD's Ryzen is not quite a good deal with gaming as of the moment as some games are optimized for Intel chips.

Asus Maximus IX Hero is the recommended Motherboard as the product is aimed at overclockers. Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 DRAM is also a great pick for Memory. On Video Card, GeForce GTX 1080Ti is more than enough for 4K gaming at 60fps. This build might be way more expensive than that of Xbox Scorpio, but the PC ideally has a longer lifespan and can be used longer.
