"Hyper Dragon Ball Z," the 2D fighting game that contains a lot of characters from the Dragon Ball series is slowly becoming popular. With this, new characters, stages and move sets are being added. And the long awaited "Champ's Build" is now available for download, and it contains a lot of new stages.

"Hyper Dragon Ball Z" is a fan-made game that was created by Balthazar and Z2 Team. It was a 2D fighting game that was made in the MUGEN engine, Event Hubs has learned. There are existing games with a similar theme, but "Hyper Dragon Ball Z" is kind of one of its kind when it comes to updates. The team behind the game always include something different on build updates, and they have the characters that don't usually made their way on official DBZ game rosters such as "The Farmer", Babidi, Mr. Satan and Saibamen. Gotenks and Super Buu is still in development but the work is promising.

In this game, the player can add and remove playable characters out of the game. That is one of the best features of the MUGEN engine, its customizability is its key feature and is also the reason why many players are trying the "Hyper Dragon Ball Z".

The newest character that has been released in its latest "Champ's Build" is Piccolo, DBZ Games reported. More stages are also added to "Hyper Dragon Ball Z" stage list. Kami's Lookout, World Tournament, Korin's Tower and Seer's Alcove are the stages that were added. More character balancing has been done to Goku.

For the "Dragon Ball Super" fans, there is a way to play Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku or Vegeta on "Hyper Dragon Ball Z". There are several sprites that are distributed for free on Mugen Forums. But the official sprites for Hyper DBZ is incomplete. The guide can be found here
