The first episode of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will be out Monday night. Fans are looking forward to what the new set of tales will bring on television. However, a new theory has just emerged and fans may not have realized it at all.

According to Consequence of Sound, the TV spots and trailers for the new season of "Better Call Saul" may have been teasing something that fans initially didn't notice. As previously revealed in set photos, Gene will also be introduced in the new installment of the spin-off. For those unaware, Gene is the Cinnabon manager and is the third persona of Jimmy.

Bob Odenkirk's Gene, the Cinnabon manager, is probably the most mysterious persona he has taken on. However, fans will get to know more of him in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. The outlet notes that there could be something he's doing more than just being a manager.

The creators of "Better Call Saul" are known for presenting shocking turns and surprises that viewers may not have expected at all. At this point, it won't be surprising if Gene is on the Cinnabon job for something more than just managing.

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that the "Better Call Saul" panel at the outlet's The Contenders Emmys, were surprised by none other than Walter White himself. Bryan Cranston's Walt is the fan-loved hero of "Breaking Bad," the series that spun off "Saul." The veteran actor's appearance was a thrill for the audiences.

At the panel, Giancarlo Esposito also teased about what fans should expect of him in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. The actor, who plays Gustavo Fring in the series, said fans will see a Gus that fans have "never seen before." He also revealed that this Gus is still finding his way towards becoming the indomitable kingpin that viewers came to love in "Breaking Bad."

"Better Call Saul" Season 3 airs every Monday on AMC. Stay tuned for more updates. You can also stream episodes here.
