Samsung's Bixby To Support German Language In Q4 2017

Bixby is the newly developed virtual assistant from South Korean tech giant-Samsung. A new announcement has been made by the company which states that the Samsung's newest digital assistant will arrive in the German language in the fourth quarter of this year.

According to Samsung Germany, a customer was provided with details of Bixby's arrival in the German language. A Samsung representative gave the details and it is stated that the digital assistant will be in the German language in the Q4 of this year. There is no exact date given on the website, however, this hint gives confirmation that the Bixby will soon support German language.

Currently, Samsung's Bixby and biggest competitor for 'Apple's Siri' and 'Google Assistant' is available in English and Korean languages. There were earlier announcements from the company that Bixby will support more languages later on.

Bixby is the new voice digital assistant featured in newly launched Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. The company calls Bixby a "multi-nodal intelligent service". It is so developed that its digital assistant works with voice, as well as text and camera inputs. This new development by the Korean tech giant includes deep integration with its phones offering a replacement for the touch interface at many instances.

Samsung claims that Bixby will be able to support almost every task that the application that is capable of performing using the conventional interface (i.e. touch commands).   Bixby has the capability to create a new photo album with a specific name, which the user requests after selecting a few photos from the gallery with a quick voice command.

Samsung Bixby is integrated with ten Samsung apps at launch, contacts, including phone,  camera, Bixby Vision, gallery, weather and the settings menu. The other apps from Samsung will be supported later. This incredibly developed voice assistant is a clear rival to the leading digital assistants available in the tech market such as Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana, Amazon's Alexa and Google's Assistant.
