The sixth installment of the hit "M:I" franchise has finally kicked off filming in Paris. Tom Cruise was spotted filming car chase scenes on the set. His double was also nearby as the two filmed for "Mission: Impossible 6."

In photos obtained by Mail Online, Cruise is seen suspended in the air in some scenes. Dressed in his signature black jeans and black coat, the award winning actor took on some terrifying stunts. In one "Mission: Impossible 6" set image, he is seen pointing at scenery.

In other photos, Tom Cruise is seen laughing and jesting around with crew members. The photos show a refreshing side of the actor after he was recently linked to his co-star, Vanessa Kirby. It appears that he has gotten over the controversy and is focused on getting filming for "Mission: Impossible 6" done.

Other images showed Sean Harris filming a helicopter scene. The scene was shot at the French Ministry of Finance that was later followed by a car chase scene. It appears that Cruise may have been part of the car chase scenario. This is what fans of "Mission: Impossible 6" should look forward to.

Tom Cruise was also spotted riding a motorcycle and swinging on trees. However, some fans are still debating whether he was the one who got on the motorcycle or if it was his double. Some believe that it was the "Mission: Impossible 6" star who took on the motorcycle stunt as he is known for completing his own stunts.

Meanwhile, Screen Rant notes that Christopher McQuarrie is returning to helm "Mission: Impossible 6." Other stars from the previous installments of the franchise are also expected to appear in the film. This includes Rebecca Ferguson of "The Girl on the Train."

"Mission: Impossible 6" is set for release on July 27, 2018. Stay tuned for more updates and spoilers on the highly anticipated film. Not much is known about the plot for now.
