Despite the tragic passing of Paul Walker, Vin Diesel is moving on. In a few days, "The Fate of the Furious" will be released and fans will see the first film in the franchise without Brian O'Conner.

In a recent sit down with PEOPLE, Diesel opened up about losing his best friend, Paul Walker and being able to deliver a film without him. Fans know "The Fate of the Furious" will no longer include Walker but it appears Diesel still has not accepted this in full. He revealed to the outlet that the issue isn't creating the film without his best pal.

Instead, Vin Diesel said it was, "What's living like without Paul?" The upcoming film is the eighth installment in the hit franchise that saw him and Walker break box office records. For the first time, Diesel disclosed what he did first after the car accident that took Walker's life.

Diesel said he flew to Atlanta to see the mother of Paul Walker. The late actor's mom said "sorry" to Diesel. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star then asked what's the need to say sorry. "Because you lost your other half," Walker's mom said. While "The Fate of the Furious" will no longer include Walker, fans may still see him through flashbacks.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel also recently opened up about his feud with co-star and good friend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The "Fate of the Furious" stars first raised concerns of a set fight when the professional wrestler took to social media to release his angst.

In an interview with U.S.A Today, Diesel revealed that there was indeed creative tension on the set of "The Fate of the Furious." However, he quickly noted that the issue may have been "blown out of proportion." He added that the problem has been resolved and it was just a thing between two male alphas.

"The Fate of the Furious" will hit the big screens on April 14, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates and news on the highly anticipated movie.
