It has been ages since DVSN, the R&B duo, has come out with any new music and fans were getting anxious. They finally announced on their Twitter page that they would be releasing 'Text Your Ex' kind of music soon.

DVSN did not elaborate any further on the kind music tracks that fans can expect from the new album or the tentative date when the music will hit the markets, HotNewHipHop reported. However, according to the fans, even the briefest of updates is better than complete radio silence.

They have begun promoting their upcoming music on multiple social media platforms. Merely hours after tweeting one of the shortest descriptions of a music album, DVSN took to Instagram and shared a picture of the two working inside the studio, captioning it "working on the new sounds."

The last that DVSN was heard of was around October last year when they released a remixed version of Drake's "Views." The next significant work of the R&B duo was in the short film called "Choir," which was released in December 2016, HotNewHipHop reported.

The background score of the short film was provided by DVSN, which added a whole new element to the crime story. The film follows the circumstances that lead up to a group of girls performing a heist. Apart from a strong plot, acting skills and suggestive imagery used, the film is elevated by the music direction of the R&B singers.

Even though DVSN is one of the lesser known names in music, it has managed to create a fan following of its own in the recent years. The Canadian R&B duo, who are signed with OVO music, like to maintain a low profile both in public as well as the social media unless they have new projects coming out, such as at present.
