"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will see the return of Tycho Nestoris, better known as the Iron Banker of Braavos. Actor Mark Gatiss confirmed his return to the series recently at the BFI & Radio Times Festival in London.

Gatiss confirmed during the festival that the Iron Banker makes a minor appearance in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. He said that he was there in Belfast last year with the rest of the casts to film Tycho Nestoris' scenes. So far, Gatiss said he has done four episodes and has two more to go.

However, the actor refused to budge when asked for spoilers for "Game of Throne" Season 7. He said that he does not "know the ins and outs" of the story. "I can't tell you anything more obviously, mostly because I don't know anything. People ask me this, that and the other, I haven't got a clue," Gatiss said as quoted by Comicbook.

Regardless, Gatiss still revealed a bit of spoiler about the Iron Banker's fate in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The "Sherlock" star said Tycho Nestoris does not die in the sequel. Gatiss will reprise his character in the last run of the show, which is Season 8.

Tycho Nestoris first appeared as the Iron Banker in Season 4. He helped Stannis with a huge loan that brought him back to power. The character only has minor appearances in the show, but he is nevertheless important to Westeros, according to Screenrant. He is the person the nobles borrow their money from. He has been funding the Iron Throne since the reign of Robert Baratheon.

Gatiss' confirmation that the Iron Banker is in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 suggests another important meeting with the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. Perhaps Cersei Lannister approaches Tycho Nestoris for another loan, possibly to restore the Great Sept of Baelor, which she blew up in the Season 6 Finale.
