The "Dark/Web" series has cast "License to Kill" star Robert Davi and "Paper Town" actor Griffin Freeman for an episode appearance each. The show also added several names to its long list of casts including Dora Madison, Hayley Marie Norman, Duane Shepard Sr., Dora Madison and Amin El Gamal.

The dark anthology series has added veteran actor Davi to appear in the "Dark/Web" episode titled "Transplant." This episode follows the story of a terminally ill man who is desperate for a heart transplant to survive. He turns to the black market and locates an online organ seller for his heart replacement.

Davi plays the role of the organ seller in "Transplant," who advertises his business on the deep web. According to Variety, he plays the character of an ethically challenged doctor. In the "Dark/Web" episode, the heart saves the terminally ill man's life. However, the dark side effects that come with it push him to find its true owner.

Mario Miscione directs "Transplant." Norman and Shepard join Davi in the episode, though there are no details about their roles. Likewise, there is no word yet on the air date for the said "Dark/Web" episode.

Meanwhile, "Paper Town" actor Freeman appears in a different "Dark/Web" episode. He plays the role of a college campus golden boy, who sleeps with a freshman student (Madison). Soon after, rumors spread on social media that she has contracted a deadly STD. The symptoms of her disease worsen as the news becomes viral. Gamal joins Madison and Freeman as the owner of a Kafkaesque skid row clinic.

The "Dark/Web" is an eight-part series that deals with the dangers and chaos of the tech world. Each episode has a theme of horror or science fiction and acts as a stand-alone story. However, it contributes to the overall mystery of the show, which according to Screen Anarchy, deals with the disappearance of a cyber-security analyst.

The analyst disappears and leaves a trail of stories for her friends. Each story, in this case, each episode in the "Dark/Web" series, has a puzzle or mystery to unravel. The show premieres in Winter 2017.
