Emma Watson while being busy promoting and releasing her new film, "Beauty And The Beast" is also apparently facing a scandal of alleged nude photos that were hacked. Watson took legal action after private photographs of her were hacked and published in various websites.

The said photos show the Emma Watson trying on different outfits during a fitting. Spokesperson of Watson clarified that the stolen images were not nude photos which contradicts the claims of many circulating online, as reported by Telegraph.

"Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen. They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further," Watson's spokesperson explained.

Users of Twitter and Reddit raised the alarm by stating that there are pictures of Emma Watson on the 'dark web'. The 'dark web' is an encrypted network barely accessible by many that allow users to exchange and communicate often with illegal information and services anonymously.

However, some also claimed that the leaked photos were posted on 4Chan, a network with message boards in which anonymous individuals post and delete themselves after submission. Despite the alleged hacking gained attention on Tuesday night, many had already claimed that they have seen the pictures, including of actress Amanda Seyfried.

"There may be a few more names added to that list but these are the big two. Don't want to break any Reddit rules so no links right now but there should be some really good drama over the next few days," the originator of the thread warned.

Emma Watson has long been receiving threats of hacking due to her outspoken stand on feminism. In 2014, a countdown has been made by trolls of 4Chan which threatened to post naked photos of the actress, according to The Sun.

It was found out the said threat is just a hoax. In the same year, a large number of celebrities were victims of hacking and stolen private photographs which included Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevigne. The said stolen images were obtained from the celebrities' iCloud storage app.
