“Once Upon a Time” co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are neither confirming nor denying what the future will be beyond the current season 6. This is amid the many speculations that are surrounding the show. They, however, promised a satisfying ending for everyone.

A climactic final battle looms for the “Once Upon a Time” characters but that is not to say that there will be no happiness headed Storybrooke. Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) are officially engaged and will get married in a highly anticipated musical episode. Titled “The Song in Your Heart,” the said episode will air on May 7, Sunday.

According to TV Line, the “Once Upon a Time” episode will have seven original, songs written by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. Cast members Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin O’Donoghue and Rebecca Mader are said to be singing in the said episode.

According to Horowitz and Kitsis, the wedding/musical episode is the culmination of Emma’s journey thus far in “Once Upon a Time.” They will make it a point to make the wedding intimate and make viewers understand that it is a real milestone in Emma’s growth.

The wedding, however, will be no different from the other “Once Upon a Time” weddings, which are fraught with unexpected twists reports Buddy TV. Emma and Hook’s wedding may not bring them a total happily ever after but both Kitsis and Horowitz promised that their story will not be left incomplete in the season 6 finale.

Kitsis said that the two-part finale of the current season of “Once Upon a Time” will aim to finish a chapter of the story and also set up the next one. He added that a closure will be given to characters if needed.

One of the persistent rumors surrounding “Once Upon a Time” is that of Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin leaving after this season. The co-creators answered that the finale has been planned from the beginning of the year. Whoever stays and goes have already been dealt with but they cannot as of yet divulge what the changes are. But, they assured the viewers that they have nothing to fear of anything feeling incomplete.
