Justin Bieber posted a "then" and "now" picture of himself on Instagram on Saturday emphasizing to his fans that he is working on himself and hopes to take his transformation over the years in a positive direction. The post is a side by side picture of Bieber, the left one being the mugshot taken during his arrest by the Miami police 3 years ago, and the right one is a recent Black and white picture of the singer.

"I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT?" Bieber captioned the picture, Just Jared Jr. reports. The fans loving the inspirational message posted by the "Sorry" singer who has indeed managed to turn his life around, with fewer scandals and controversies emerging regarding him in the recent times.

A younger, more naive Bieber appears grinning at the camera, dressed in an orange jumpsuit in the mugshot taken when the pop star was arrested in 2014 for driving under influence and also resisting arrest. He has later admitted to his interrogating officer that he had smoked marijuana and taken prescriptions drugs.

The photograph is in stark contrast to the recently taken picture of himself where he smiles with his eyes lowered to the ground. Also in the right-side picture, Bieber is sporting very short hair, Teen Vogue reports.

Teen pop stars always find it hard to not fall off the wagon once they get older and a similar fate was predicted for Bieber when he started getting frequently into trouble a few years ago. However, Justin Bieber has managed to leave his ill habits behind and fans are excited to see what bigger things are in store for him next, just like he promises in the caption.
