"Pokemon Stars", as a Pokemon tradition, is rumored to be the third game of "Pokemon Sun and Moon". With a franchise as popular as Pokemon and a gaming console as hot as Nintendo Switch, there has to be a Pokemon game for the latest Nintendo Console. New leaks and rumors have been available for the ones who can't wait.

The third installment of the seventh-generation game "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has been out for quite some time now, and is proven to be a success. Its third game dubbed the "Pokemon Stars" or "Pokemon Eclipse" was rumored to be on the Nintendo Switch, instead of its native Nintendo 3DS console, which would make it the first Pokemon generation to be released on two different consoles.

Release date rumors include its launch to be on late 2017 or mid-2018, as reported by Tech Radar. Albeit the title being only rumored as of the writing, Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara has announced its plans to make a Nintendo Switch title. Only last month, Game Freak has started to find people through job ads who are capable of creating character models similar to Wii U. It was reported that the company is planning to make a new RPG game for a franchise which is "popular on a global scale" and fans takes it as the new "Pokemon Stars".

"Pokemon Stars" might once again add new excitements for the dwindling Global Missions. There are new Global Mission, which will run until May 8 and its main goal is for players to harvest 3,000,000 Poke Beans on Pelago. But it seems like the number of players who do Global Missions isn't massive as they used to be, as reported by Destructoid. It is expected that "Pokemon Stars" will be connected to "Pokemon Sun and Moon", just like "Pokemon Yellow" is to "Pokemon Red and Blue". Perhaps, Global Missions that can be participated by Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch players should "Pokemon Stars" ever hit the market.
