"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 will feature the comeback of two of the oldest characters of the "Dragon Ball" franchise; Roshi and Tien. A mysterious lady is doing something wicked to Tien and Roshi. Also, a producer gave a say about the series' power levels inflation.

The screentime of "Dragon Ball Super" is focused on new characters most of the time. It seems like the show is trying to achieve balance by using the Tournament of Power on its Universal Survival Arc. Tien and Master Roshi is expected to participate in the Tournament of Power and all that is needed to happen is for Goku to recruit them. Though it seems like Goku will have a problem recruiting them.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 previews Master Roshi with a seal on his forehead, as reported by Comic Book. It seems the turtle hermit is under the control of something ominous, with a purple aura surrounding his whole body. To put the right term, the old man has become berserk, fighting Goku head to head on his basic form. The effect is something similar to Babidi's Majin Seal.

A mysterious girl seems to control Roshi and Tien's disciples. The preview showed Tien preparing for a new attack, something that he'll use to stop the berserk Roshi and his disciples. What could have happened to one of the most powerful earthlings?

And speaking of power, a report addresses the inconsistent power levels on "Dragon Ball Super". Gone are the days when Goku's power level is reachable by anyone not named Vegeta. Hiroyuki Sakurada, one of the producers of "Dragon Ball Super" had an interview with Mantan Web.

"There are more surprises further along in Dragon Ball Super" Sakurada explained. "I think that they seem to have a richness. When a new arc start, whatever happens after this - Mr. [Akira] Toriyama will break through it, even if the scale is too big this time. I do not worry about inflation," Sakurada said.
