The Guardian comes to the rescue in "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 20 when an alien race attacks National City. Meanwhile, Kara goes head-to-head with Rhea in the upcoming episode titled "City of Lost Children."

The CW has released a synopsis for "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 20, which reveals the attack on National City by a Phorian that possesses telekinetic powers. In "City of Lost Children," Jimmy aka the Guardian (Mechad Brooks) takes the lead in finding the Phorian. He tracks its location but instead finds a frightened boy named Marcus (Lonnie Chavis) in its place. According to Comic Book Movie, the boy might just have a very dark secret. Could he be a Phorian?

It seems only the Guardian can help the boy, according to the synopsis from Cartermatt. Marcus only trusts Jimmy. Likewise, the Guardian seems the only person who can save the other children in National City who is under a spell. The promo for "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 20 shows several other kids possessed by an unseen force. Could the Phorian be responsible for these children? However, they are supposed to be the peaceful alien race.

It is clear though that Rhea is (Teri Hatcher) is somehow involved with what is happening with the children and with the attack on National City. According to the synopsis, one of her plans escalates and it somehow involves the kids. She can be heard talking about them in the trailer for "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 20. "For every child of Earth that cries out, 'Why is this happening?'" Rhea said in the video below.

Meanwhile, as the Guardian fulfills his duty to save National City, Kara also races against time to stop Rhea's evil plans. The promo for "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 20 shows the superhero fighting Mon-El's crazy mother. Ben Bray directs "City of Lost Children" which airs May 8 on The CW.
