Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that "The Flash" Season 3 Finale is going to be very emotional. Coincidentally, set photos show Iris West and Barry Allen in a touching scene, which suggests that the latter somehow bids goodbye in the finale.

Kreisberg has since confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that "The Flash" Season 3 Finale is going to make viewers cry. Of course, he did not reveal why, but leaked set photos from the episode may give a clue.

Just Jared shared several shots from the filming for "The Flash" Season 3 Finale, which shows Team Flash all dressed in black and looking sad. It is unclear what happened in this scene, but it looks like Barry Allen is saying goodbye to everyone. One photo shows him hugging Cisco and in another, he is talking to Wally. He and Iris West also share a touching scene, where they both look sad and happy at the same time.

It is interesting to point out that Jay Garrick or Earth 19 Flash is also in the photos. The last time viewers saw him, he stayed in the Speed Force to save Wally. If he is out then it means someone has taken his place, or someone is about to. Does this mean Barry is going to sacrifice himself in "The Flash" Season 3 Finale? Perhaps staying in the Speed Force is the only way he knows to defeat Savitar, now that he knows the villain is his future self.

This would explain the presence of the red-haired woman in one of the photos for "The Flash" Season 3 Finale. This person is likely the scientist Tracy Brand, whom 2024 Barry Allen revealed is the person who created the trap for Savitar. Perhaps Tracy finally discovers that this trap is the Speed Force. After all, this is where Savitar came from before he arrived on Earth 1.
