Amid all the fan theories for "Frozen 2," an official story has been slipped to the public and fans may not even have noticed. Disney has finally announced the official release date of the highly anticipated sequel. But, what will be the story?

"Frozen 2" producer Peter Del Vecho may not have noticed that he actually said something about the plot for the upcoming film. According to the Sun, Del Vecho said the sequel "builds on the first movie." He added that fans will understand the story of "Frozen" much better when they watch the sequel.

One of the biggest mysteries yet in the franchise is the origin of Queen Elsa's powers. It appears that both of her parents, the King and former Queen of Arendelle, are mortals and do not have powers. The same is true with her sister, Anna. Elsa is the only one who has superpowers. In "Frozen 2," the questions will be answered.

As slipped by Peter Del Vecho, viewers will have a better understanding of everything in the first movie when they see "Frozen 2." This means every single question about the origin of Elsa and how she got her powers will be unraveled.

Another potential plot for "Frozen 2" is the revelation of Elsa's lineage. There have been rumors suggesting that Elsa may not be a Queen after all and does not have royal blood. This could lead to Arendelle being torn apart. If things go as the theory suggests, Anna will take over the throne.

Meanwhile, fans can expect a lot of good things to come in the movie. The latest "Frozen 2" spoilers reveal that Elsa and Anna will have an "epic" duet. Teen Vogue notes that it seems impossible to "let go" of Elsa's power-ballad. However, the duet is also worth looking forward to.

Idina Menzel will return to reprise her role as Queen Elsa and Kristen Bell will come back as Princess Anna. The adorable Olaf returns with the voice of Josh Gad. Other cast members for "Frozen 2" have yet to be officially confirmed.

"Frozen 2" is set to hit the big screens on Nov. 27, 2019. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
