Details about the production on "Big Hero 7" remain scarce, although Stan Lee says it is definitely going to happen. Meanwhile, producer Roy Conli addressed rumors that Tadashi will return in the sequel.

Lee has since confirmed in a past interview following the release of "Big Hero 6," that the sequel will happen. However, he did not give a specific timeline given Disney's busy schedule. He hinted that production on "Big Hero 7" could happen after Disney is done with its work on Marvel's blockbuster films."After Ant-Man, we're going to start playing around with Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the Inhumans, and then we have to come back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Big Hero 6, the Avengers, Captain America," Lee told the Toronto Sun.

It is interesting to point out that "Black Panther" and "Inhumans" are in production, while the rest of the films have already come out in theaters. Does this mean that "Big Hero 7" is up next? After all, Lee hinted that Disney will work on the sequel after these Marvel movies are done with production.

Regardless, producer Conli has yet to confirm the release of "Big Hero 7." He said that the sequel is still up in the air. He admitted though that he has talked about it with film directors Don Hall and Chris Williams.

However, he expressed his uncertainty that "Big Hero 7" will push through. "You know, we want to make sure that if we do move in that direction that we are actually telling a story that is as strong as the original," Conli told Screenrant.

In the same interview, Conli also addressed speculations that Tadashi will return in "Big Hero 7." Rumors have it that he is alive even after that tragic explosion "Big Hero 6." Conli clarified that this is merely a rumor.
