Barry Allen is desperate to prevent Iris' death in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 22, so he turns to Captain Cold for help. Meanwhile, King Shark returns in the episode titled "Infantino Street."

Iris' death looms and Barry realizes he has one option left to save her. According to the synopsis from Cartermatt, Barry only has 24 hours left to find a way to stop Savitar from killing Iris and he realizes Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold can help. The promo for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 22 shows Barry ask Captain Cold for help steal an alien power source.

Barry says this power source may be the key to preventing Iris' death and defeating Savitar. If they do not retrieve it, then Iris dies soon. According to Den of Geek, Team Flash needs the power source in order to activate the speed force that Tracy finally managed to conceptualize. This speed force is the only way the team can trap Savitar and prevent Iris' death.

However, they come face-to-face with a huge problem on their mission. The promo for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 22 shows Barry and Captain Cold must first defeat King Shark in order to take the power source. The monster happens to be the "guard dog" to the facility where the power source is stored.

Fortunately, it seems Barry and Captain Cold succeed in their mission to steal the power source in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 22. Captain Cold continues to help Team Flash execute a plan to defeat Savitar and ultimately, prevent Iris' death. The CW shared another sizzle reel that shows the thief at STAR Labs. "There are only four rules you need to remember. Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails and throw away the plan," Captain Cold says in the video below.
