'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Finale Spoilers: Firehouse 51 Squad in Big Trouble; Will Casey Die?

The “Chicago Fire” Season 5 finale will show the entire Firehouse 51 squad in serious risk when a blaze goes out of control. Mouch (Christian Stolte) is forced to make a decision that will affect his future. Meanwhile, Casey’s (Jesse Spencer) life will once again be put in danger while everything is not alright at his home.

In Casey’s domestic front, he continues to have conflicting views about Dawson’s father (Daniel Zacapa) in the “Chicago Fire” Season 5 episode. His overstaying his welcome at their home has been causing tensions to ran high between the couple. Elsewhere, Hermann. (David Eigenberg) will go out of his way to fulfill a young boy’s dream.

A sneak peek for the “Chicago Fire” Season 5 finale titled “My Miracle” was released. Hermann is seen taking the young boy to a baseball stadium so he can meet his favorite Chicago Cubs players, who are said to be guest stars Jake Arrieta and Kris Bryant. NBC sportscaster Mike Tirico will be joining them.

The next scene in the “Chicago Fire” Season 5 promo video is a grim image when the other firemen of the squad are called to a burning warehouse. While they are inside, a big explosion happens reports The Futon Critic. Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) can be seen asking Casey if he already found an exit. The last scene of the video is that of Casey telling Dawson that he loves her over the radio. Dawson is crying which implies that Casey’s life is at stake.

In the previous episode of “Chicago Fire” Season 5, Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) season long romance came to an end when his girlfriend died. EP Derek Haas teased that Severide will be facing another challenge in his career even while he grieves for his girlfriend. Haas revealed that Kannell (Kamal Angelo Bolden), who is known to be Casey’s friend will be joining the team. He is expected to butt heads with Severide according to TVLine.
