iMac 2017 Release Date, Specs: Will Come WIth Two Variants In Upcoming WWDC 2017 2nd Quarter

Apple iMac 2017 is expected to come in the second quarter of the year, right at the WWDC 2017. The newest iMac is expected to come with two new variants aimed for the use of creative professionals. 

The most awaited iMac 2017 is said to be coming on Apple's shed second quarter this year. The company has decided to revamp this product line this year, after many years of focusing on Macbooks and iPhones. Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, has confirmed this news and fans are happy and excited about what's going to come with the iMac update. 

There will be two variants of the new iMac 2017: one with a 21.5-inch display and one with a 27-inch display that will be called as iMac Pro, as reported by Korea Portal. The two variants are aimed at creative professionals, which means that iMac 2017 would be a powerful device hardware-wise and software-wise. Apple's marketing head Phil Schiller has confirmed a huge spec revamp that will be featured in the new iMac.

The iMac 2017 is likely to be unveiled at Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2017 that will kick off on June 5 to June 9, as reported by Blasting News. It is supposed to be the icing on the cake, as there will also be updates on some Apple products such as the Apple Smartwatch and the iPhone. Software updates are also expected to be released on iOS, macOS, watchOS and as well as the tvOS. 

There are rumors that the iMac 2017 will come with AMD's Ryzen 7. Some claims that the Apple Desktop will come with Intel's Kaby Lake instead. iMac Pro is expected to come with a server-grade hardware that composes of a whopping 64GB of ECC RAM and 2TB of NVMe SSD. Not only that, as it is rumored to include a Touch ID functionality, Touch Bar, and Thunderbolt 3/ USB Type-C ports.
