Apple is expected to be release three models of their 2017 flagship iPhone 8. The three models were leaked to contain 3GB of RAM. Other new features are also leaked and the leak shows a taller, wider and thicker iPhone.

Some of the excerpts came from the Company analyst Timothy Arcuri. It was Arcuri's late March research note that has been obtained by MacRumors. The research note has stated that the three new models of iPhone 8 (4.7", 5.5" and 5.8") will all have 3GB RAM. It is a breath of fresh air and a handy upgrade from iPhone 6s and iPhone 7's 2GB RAM.

The 4.7-inch iPhone seems like a budget phone that Apple plans to release to aim for offering its customers more options. The 5.8-inch is the only model that will have two packs of batteries. Each model will continue to have Lightning connectors with USB Type-C Power Delivery to make charging a breeze.

There are other leaks as well about plans that Apple has for the iPhone 8. The leaks were provided by iDrop via Forbes. It has been stated that there will be a Plan A and Plan B. Plan A consists of the following major changes: front facing Touch ID beneath display, 4mm entire device bezels, 2.5D contoured glass surrounded by metal frame, wireless charging, similar iPhone 7 dimension, 5.8 inch OLED display, and an invisible front facing camera hidden underneath the display.

Plan A is a plan that needs a lot of resources to move, and it is quite not sure if the project will succeed. So as to mitigate any risk, Apple has a Plan B for its iPhone 8. Plan B contains an "iPhone 8" with 149.5x72.5x8.6mm, a slightly heavier and bulkier iPhone. Dual Camera setup and camera direction (from horizontal to vertical) is also available.
