The publication added that the fan shared a copy of the cease and desist order she received from Beyonce's team. "As a 15 year old, I was simply trying to make some money. At no point did I ever intend for this to happen. I'm truly sorry to all involved," the fan tweeted to @ BeyonceCapital.

This is not the first time for the "Single Ladies" singer to sue business owners for copyright infringement. According to Reuters, in 2016, Beyonce also sued the Feyonce Merch Company and three other individuals from San Antonio for "brazenly" selling merchandise that infringes her copyrighted name.

Among the items found on the website was a mug worth $14.95 with the phrase "he put a ring on it." A popular line in Beyonce's hit song "Single Ladies." There are also dozens of shirts, sweaters, tank tops and hoodies.

Beyonce sued Feyonce for bearing a name that is too close to her own trademarked name. The company allegedly filed for two U.S. trademark for "Feyonce" with and without the over the letter "e."

Beyonce's team believed that Feyonce intentionally did it to call to mind the popular singer and her famous songs. They deemed the action "intentional, fraudulent, malicious, willful and wanton."

Beyonce filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court. She sought for unspecified damages.
