"One Punch Man" the main protagonist Saitama is probably the most powerful human and probably the most powerful hero in his universe. But what if he forgot his reason for being a hero? Would he be the God-level threat? As much as season 2 is being anticipated to hopefully answer these questions, it seems like viewers will have to wait.

The latest chapter of "One Punch Man" features the comeback appearance of S-Class hero Puri Puri Prisoner in the manga. He was shown defeating the demon class hero "Free Hug" by hugging the monster and suffocating it in the process. While it is somewhat good to see his odd character comeback, the highlight of the latest chapter is Saitama's existential crisis. Yes, even a hero, and the most powerful one that is can have an existential crisis. After Saitama saw what happened in the city and somehow feeling helpless because of missing the action, he reflects on the outcome of him being a hero, as reported by Korea Portal.

It can be remembered that there is a prophecy about a God-Level threat on Earth, which everyone thought would be Lord Boros. Saitama in his own status can be classified as a God-level threat. What would happen if he cannot find any reason to stay as a hero? Will he find the greatest enemy that he seeks to fill something that is missing? This is the first time that Saitama can be seen struggling in philosophical problems such as existential crisis. After all, he wanted to be strong to defeat monsters. Now that he's so strong that he can defeat any monster, what would he do next? But this is a Gag series, he would likely shrug it off when he sees another ongoing sale.

The answers will be given in the next chapters of the manga. But as for the Anime, the season 2 of "One Punch Man" is expected to come next year, as reported by Comic Book. No date announcements have been announced yet, but the anime is already in the works.
