It appears Rockstar Games has finally decided to move on to another installment for "GTA V" as speculations point to "GTA VI" being in the works. Fans have a long wait though as analysts estimate its release for 2020.

According to reports, Rockstar Games has already started early development on "GTA VI". Rumors claim that the next open-world crime game will showcase even more features compared to its predecessor. Based on a report from NSEA Voice, the development team has "20 years of ideas" to draw inspiration from. However, it has been noted that the next installment might see a possible release date in 2020, which by then could already see a next-generation console release from Sony or Nintendo.

Meanwhile, industry analysts believe that "GTA VI" will be made with Microsoft's Xbox One X hardware capabilities as the benchmark. The latest platform from the Redmond tech giant features native 4K-resolution gaming and more. This is understandable given that Rockstar Games does not have the final specifications for the next-gen consoles from Sony or Nintendo just yet.

Moreover, the developer can apply the same process with "GTA V" for "GTA VI," when they released the former on PS3 and Xbox 360. Afterward, they released a remastered version for PC, PS4 and Xbox One the following year.

Fans anticipate new updates on the release of "GTA VI' given that 2017 marks the "Grand Theft Auto" series' 20th anniversary. However, gamers will have to settle for an announcement on "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the meantime, according to a report from Blorge.
