Some good news to Nokia users in Germany, after passing the US FCC certification, Nokia 8 has already been confirmed by HMD and will be out on Oct 20, in Germany. The specific Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be available in Germany after HMD Global announced its rollout in Europe, in particular in Germany with a reasonable price of EUR 669. As compared to other smartphones with 4GB variants costing at EUR 579, a 2GB and EUR 90 difference seem to be a wise decision for future Nokia 8 users.

In a report from GSMArena Nokia, 8 will only be available in Polished Blue color since it is the only color available for the 6GB variant. Nevertheless, pre-ordering is still available in South Africa, Hong Kong, Germany, UK, Russia, Finland, Netherlands, Australia, Portugal, and Sweden. The full-length graphite shielded copper cooling pipe of Nokia 8 can distribute the temperature to the whole length of the smartphone thus prevents the heat to concentrate on the back of the phone most especially on the batteries.

The same with all the variants of Nokia 8, it will have a 5.3" 2K LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass 5, as Gadgets 360 reports. Nokia 8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port for charging and data transfer (up to 5 Gbit/s). The first flagship phone of HMD Global, Nokia 8 will be the first Nokia-branded phone to feature a dual-lens camera system.

These two cameras will have 13 megapixels sensors with RGB sensor and monochrome sensor separately in each one. Another special feature for the front and back cameras will be the "Bothie" image wherein both cameras can take photos at the same time using the Dual-Sight mode. Nokia 8 cameras use ZEISS optics but rated as IP54 splash-resistant only instead of being water-resistant.

Nokia 8 has Android Nougat 7.1.1 right out of the box and is competitive enough to be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. There is still no news on when the other variants will be available, even in the US, as Nokia 8 has not been released yet anywhere.
