Kanye West used a creative and original new way to promote his new single "New Slaves." Instead of just premiering video on a radio station or MTV, West debuted the single on the sides of 66 different buildings across the world. That's right; the world got a taste of West's new album when the rapper and hip-hop star plastered the video on buildings all over the world.

West made the announcement on Twitter. @kanyewest revealed on Twitter, "NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS, LOCATIONS @ https://KANYEWEST.COM" On West's website there was an interactive map detailing the locations, times, and cities where the single would premiere.

The video was on the side of buildings in some of the largest cities in the world such as New York, Chicago, London, Toronto, Sydney, Paris and Berlin. As Rolling Stone magazine notes, in Chicago, Wrigley Field was used as the backdrop and in New York a 5th Avenue Prada store was one of the locations.

The new single is a powerful song with some powerful lyrics. West's new album is rumored to be released June 18, in what will be the rapper's sixth studio album. Before then, fans can watch West on this Saturday's "Saturday Night Live." West also made a surprise appearance at New York City's Roseland Ballroom on Wednesday.

West's latest album will likely be a major hit and it certainly helps with premieres like this. West continues to be one of the most innovative rappers in the world, even despite some of the negative publicity he has been getting with his actions towards the paparazzi.

Are you looking forward to West's new album? Maybe more importantly, what do you think of his new single "New Slaves?"
