'American Idol' Judges 2013: Keith Urban Returning For Season 13? Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson All Leaving

"American Idol" season 12 was definitely a disappointment for Fox after the show struggled badly in the ratings and new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey spent the entire season feuding.  Now, with Minaj and Carey announcing they are leaving, as is original judge Randy Jackson that leaves Keith Urban as the lone remaining judge from last season. There are still plenty of questions going into season 13, which means fans can expect a number of rumors this summer about which stars could be signing on as judges.

Will Urban return for next season? Apparently not even the country singer himself knows the answer to this question. "I have no official information of anything," the Australian country singer said via the Associated Press. "I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else here with the rumors that have been floating around. I don't know anything more about what's happening next season."

There have been rumors that Jennifer Hudson has already signed on to be a new judge and Fox may want to create a whole judging panel of "Idol" alums. Some of the names rumored have been Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, and Adam Lambert. Vulture reported that Hudson is nearly a done deal and Clarkson has already been approached about judging season 13. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, a rep for Clarkson said the singer would not be judging season 13.

Right now "American Idol's" judging panel is completely up in the air. The rumor that has been brought up the most is that the show will be going with all new judges on a three person judging panel.
