While most artists and record labels would be in major crisis mode, Kanye West and his label Def Jam Records are allegedly taking the leak of Yeezus in stride.

According to Mashable, 'Ye and his crew didn't really care whether or not the record made its way online ahead of its scheduled June 18 release date. At a New York City listening party earlier this week, West and co. allowed journalists to freely use their phones and other devices to record their surroundings, which obviously included the yet-to-be-released music.

His release strategy? Well it's simple. "I have this new strategy. It's called no strategy," said West at the private gathering. "This album is all about giving. This whole process is all about giving no f**ks at all."

Later, West indicated what makes for high numbers and a good record. "I've got an idea on hot to sell more music: it's called make better music," he said.

Despite West's nonchalant attitude, precautionary measures were made to ensure that Yeezus did not leak before this coming Tuesday. West avoided emailing files, stored his music on external hard drives instead of laptops and chose not to make his album available for preorder on iTunes.

The third measure is a notoriously common way for records to reach the Internet earlier. Daft Punk and The National fell victim to their albums leaking because of iTunes preorders in the last few months.

While Kanye himself may be indifferent to his album leaking, fans simply cannot get enough of Yeezus and talking about it on social media. Nearly 24 hours after the much-anticipated album made its way onto the Internet, both "#Yeezus" and "Kanye" remain trending topics on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the popular microblogging site Tumblr is full of fans excited about listening to Yeezus. Fans are sharing streams to the songs on the site, seemingly bragging about getting to hear the record early.

Yeezus officially drops on Tuesday, June 18. It's expected to sell upwards of 500,000 copies in its first week.
