WWE Payback 2013: Match Card, Rumors, Predictions, CM Punk News

WWE's June pay-per-view is set to air this Sunday night June 16. Payback will be a big pay-per-view for a number of WWE stars. The match card is set with a number of solid matches on the card including John Cena versus Ryback in a three stages of hell match and Chris Jericho facing the returning C.M. Punk. There are a number of rumors going into Payback and we have the complete match card below along with predictions.

According to PWInsider, C.M. Punk is coming up on the final year of his deal with the WWE. Reportedly there has been some talk of turning Punk baby face. Considering he will be wrestling in his hometown of Chicago Sunday, that may be as good a time as any to turn him face.

The final match card for Payback, with predictions, is as follows:

Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Title; Lumberjack Match, Tables Match & Ambulance Match:
-John Cena (c) vs. Ryback

Prediction: John Cena manages to pull this match off with help from someone else or some kind of gimmicky finish. The match will go all three matches, but look for WWE to try and put over Cena, while not completely ruining the momentum Ryback has built up as a hell.

World Heavyweight Title Match:
-Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio

Prediction: Alberto Del Rio's time in the heavyweight title picture should be coming to an end. Ziggler just won the belt and hasn't gotten a chance to get a good run yet, so he should end up winning this match.

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title:
-Wade Barrett (c) vs. Curtis Axel vs. The Miz

Prediction: What better way to continue Curtis Axel's push than to put gold around his waist. WWE has had no problem having Barrett job in the past, so look for Axel to win by pinning Barrett.

WWE Tag Team Title Match:
-Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (c's)

Prediction: I don't see The Shield's run as the tag team champions ending yet. It would be interesting to see a dysfunctional tag team of Orton and Bryan as champs, but instead I see one of them turning heel in this match leading to a feud between the tag team partner.

WWE United States Title Match:
-Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kane

Prediction: Again, I don't see Ambrose dropping the belt here. Look for some kind of interference on the part of The Shield in order to help Ambrose win the match.

WWE Divas Title Match:
-Kaitlyn (c) vs. AJ Lee

Prediction: I see the mind games continuing in this match in order to help Lee win the diva's championship.

-CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Prediction: Before taking a break, Punk had lost a couple big matches in a row. Jericho is used to putting guys over at this point in his career, so I fully expect Punk to get the victory. The real question is whether or not Punk walks out a heel or face.

PPV Pre-Show Match:
-Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow

Prediction: I would like to see what Sandow's character could do with a push, but something tells me Sheamus will win this match cleanly.
